Person #1: Difficult neighbor who drives through my yard everyday to get to a spot in his drive that he wants to park his car. I have asked him many times in a very kind way not to do this.
Solution: Put up a fence at 10:30 in the evening (after he is sleeping) and block in his car. He had to drive over his flower garden to leave in the morning. :):):)
Ahhhhhhhhh, I feel better.
Person #2: Child who slams her door EVERYDAY because life does not revolve around her!! Imagine, teeheehee said the wicked witch.
Solution: Get a screw driver and remove door until she moves out.
Oh yes, I am feeling much better!!!
Person #3: Man at work who is not winning his battle with cancer. (I work part-time at hospice) He is hateful, nasty, pissed off, smelly, undesirable to be around, and a pain in the ass.
Solution: Hold his hand and be a friend until the end!!!! Everyone keep Ed in your thoughts!

Since todays subject seems to be books for me I would like to recommend an excellent book everyone should read. It is called "Omnivore's Dilemma" by Michael Pollan. He also wrote "Botany of Desire", another fab book.
I run a farmers market every summer so food and where it comes from is very important to me. My market has very strict rules. Everyones produce must be chemical free, it has to be locally grown, and all of my vendors must accept Senior and WIC coupons. This will be our first year we accept food stamps. Is is a socially conscience farmers market. I put it in a low income neighborhood because I never understood why low income neighborhoods never have a market. Poor and low income folks need good healthy food too. We keep everything $1 a pound so everyone can afford the produce. I don't make any money doing this, but I always have the best produce in my house. :):):)
Back to the book, I hope everyone reads it. It will make you look at food and where it comes from in a whole new way.
