Hola friends

Just wanted to thank everyone for their kind words of support, beautiful pictures and dear friendship over the last few months. And if you don't know what I am talking about, it is still all good. teeheehee

I must say it has been interesting living my life the last few months. So when stress and bullsh*t come knocking I head to the river for a float. So needless to say, I have been on the river quite a bit. :):):)

I feel like things are starting to get a bit balanced and I feel better. Emotionally and physically. Thank the goddess!!!!!!!!! A gal can only paddle so much before her boat tips. I felt like I had a small leak and all I could do is watch the water get higher. Good thing I am a strong swimmer. lol

So today I am going on a forty mile bike ride. It should continue to clear the cob webs. I wish all of you a happy fourth!! And remember what a wise old american said, "Don't run with a sparkler in your hand, you could poke your eye out!!!" heeheehee

For those who remember me talking about Ed, well, he is in a better place and his pain is gone. Seems like my life lesson for the last month has been accepting and living with loss. My friend Jon, the baby robin and now Ed.

Baby robin.....jumped the nest to early!!

I have a baby robin who is hanging around my pond and not moving much. I see and hear it's mother but it does not seem to be responding. I thought about moving the young bird near it's nest, but isn't it true that if a bird has human scent on it the mother won't care for it??? Or is that an old wise tale. I have taken the cats and dog inside, poor thing is to easy of a prey. I guess I will just wait it out, but if anyone has any ideas, please let me know. :):):)

Back from the Buffalo

Hello everyone. I am glad to be back from my paddle trip down the Buffalo River, but not without sad news. On our first night there a dear friend of mine had a heart attach in his sleep and passed away. I found him the next morning in the middle of his yurt looking to the sky. He so loved the stars. The scene was spiritual and my friend Jon would of wanted to go in his yurt. He loved that thing so much. I carry a 8 pound tent, so anyone who would bring a 150 pound tent into the woods, well that has to be love

. His visitation was on Thursday, Memorial service was friday, and close friends will gather for wine, food and shared love of Jon on Sunday. I am trying to get a grasp on the reality that he is really gone and I won't ever see him again in this life. I am just very sad right now. So please forgive me for my disappearing act. I will get back into the swing of things soon. Hope all of you are well and don't forget to tell your friends you love them. Call one up right now and tell them how important they are. You never know when your last encounter will be with them.
